The focus is on the song in this intimate dialogue and performance by and with these ARISE favorites - Mystery Artist (we promise this is a favorite), John Craigie, and Jay Cobb Anderson.

TBA... We can't wait to share this secret addition to the festival this year!

John Craigie is renowned for his eloquent Americana style, engaging live shows, and off-the-cuff clever observations. Craigie carries on the legacy of classic singer-songwriters, while blazing a trail of his own. When Craigie plays, it’s one of those special shows that can make you laugh and cry in the same song. It’s a musical journey that can’t be denied.

Jay Cobb Anderson 5 years ago, with only a $100 to his name and no place to stay, packed his bags, grabbed his guitars and left the small pond of Idaho for the waters of Portland, Oregon. It was here that he became a founding member of the groups Fruition, the Bellboys and Rose City Thorns (formerly known as the Villains). These groups would go on to pack local venues, successfully tour west of the Mississippi, and release fan adored albums. As a prominent songwriter for all three bands, Anderson has woven his musical stylings from the “along the riverbed” folk tunes to the heartland Americana ballads to the loud, grimy rock and roll ragers.
